Inspired personalized leather gifts and home decor accessories for the modern explorer.The label Wilhelm and Friends is a Canadian - Vancouver based, home decor and personalized leather gifts company. The label was founded in 2015 by Owner/Creative Director Jules Stasch, who has been working in the design industry since 2008.

 

The Roots

Jules studied product and graphic design in Germany and moved to Canada in her late 20ies.
Her background and love for leatherwork, creating useful and unique lifestyle products with a minimalistic, sophisticated and timeless approach, has developed into a true passion. At the heart of every product is a driven focus on originality and uncompromising quality of both material and craftsmanship.

 

Our Process

At Wilhelm and Friends, we focus on handcrafting custom home decor, personalized leather gifts and travel leather accessories.
Each item is designed by a member of our team, often going through several stages of prototypes that team members will then try out and give feedback on. We source our leather from American tanneries and handpick most of our materials. Each item is hand cut from premium top grain leather, sewn, has hardware attached, gets personalized, and always checked for quality at each step. We package and handle all of our customer service from within the workshop, meaning anyone who answers your call or email is in direct communication with the makers of your custom item. Not outsourcing these steps allows us to ensure top quality leather goods and top quality customer service.
